Whoever invented the rule that you can’t wear white after Labor Day obviously didn’t know how a-ma-zing white jeans look when paired with a white chunky turtleneck sweater. For me this fashion rule is one to definitely break.

Keep it simple and clean, aim for heavier and richer fabrics: cashmere, mohair, merino wool. Wear with skinny jeans or leather leggings and effortless tossed hair. Nothing is as sophisticated and chic as dressing elegantly in all white.

When it comes to white, I say wear it all year round—fall and winter whites, is specially fresh and unexpected during the colder seasons.  I think women should see what works best for them,  experiment and find the best shade of white for her skin tone – and the best sweater silhouette for her body type. I personally like boxy oversized cuts like this beautiful Jcrew white turtleneck  in Merino wool (similar here and here)

For fall I love metallic accessories – pop of silver gives it a very sleek and modern feel. Wear it with gold accessories if you want to warm up a white outfit.

My whole look in this picture was from Jcrew, with these super cute Jcrew high waisted toothpick white jeans. Sky high pumps and an ultra rare limited edition Chanel Boy bag from the Fall-Winter 2015/16 collection, made from a combination of silver calf skin and black goat skin with gunmetal hardware ( that you can get pre-loved here).

As a bonus,  camel color goes with just about e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g in your closet,  it mixes well with nearly every other color, from basic to bold, which is why it will never go out of style.  It’s as versatile as black, but it’s  “swag meter” is more interesting by a mile.

When temperatures drop we’re all for experimenting with outerwear,  but there’s something about a classic camel blazer in wool or cashmere that’s at once insanely stylish and effortless. Nude and Camel are the colors that make everything look more expensive.  A classic camel blazer, you can wear it with skinny jeans and boots, to black dresses and heels.

Here you see the different vibe the outfit has with the shirt out or tucked in. One is more relaxed than the other. Which one is your favorite?

One of my most frequently asked questions, when my friends come to Miami is where to eat and what to do in Miami Beach during the day? Since I grew up in Miami this is a question I particularly get asked alot when my friends come in town. Miami is known for its beautiful pools, fantastic beaches and delicious food. But with so many options its sometimes hard to know where to go (that doesn’t necessary involve partying).

This weekend was a fun filled one for me, I have friends in town and I wanted to to do something special to spend quality time with them.

On Friday we went to dinner at Casa Tua a mediterranean villa in the heart of Miami Beach with fantastic dining. After dinner, we went to El Tucan its like a modern day Cabaret super fancy with live Cuban Music (its by the same owners of Baoli). Its a must go place if you’ve ever in Miami.

Miami its definitely way too hot at the moment to be covered up in clothes. I wanted to wear a swimsuit and still look cute and well put together so I opted for this Aguaclara Bikini. The off the shoulder sleeves and the pink flowers make this piece so feminine and chic. I am in love with this swimwear brand, I get so many compliments every time I wear it.

LOOK at this view from this rooftop. Something about gazing into the ocean  for hours is so relaxing.

On Saturday we spent the whole day drinking frozen rosé at Soho Beach house, by the pool. By the time Sunday came around, we just needed to relax and stay away from any cocktails haha!. So we went to a fantastic rooftop restaurant thats at The One Hotel. We had lunch by the pool and basically spent the entire afternoon relaxing in the couches enjoying the music the DJ was playing. The vibe was very chill & Zen, much like Sunset Ashram in Ibiza (if you’ve ever been there you know what I mean).

Hi guys – Here’s one of my all time favorite denim on denim outfits, effortless, timeless & chic. Its a rare day where I’m not wearing some type of denim. Whether its a denim shirt, a pair of denim jeans, shorts or jacket. I usually just have one piece on, its just the most versatile and easiest pice to wear. Then there’s days like today where its all denim on denim.

This black distressed shorts form  Jbrand have been my favorite for a while now. They are stretchy and the cut of the shorts is very flattering (they are sold out now) but you can achieve this look with any shorts from Zara.

Also wearing a Zara Basic Denim top  with Chanel espadrilles for a little extra detail. Added a Balenciaga bag (one for sale here) and Round sunnies from Shevoke (here). Accessories are the easiest way to dress up a denim on denim look while not having to sacrifice comfort.

Nailing the “denim on denim” look can be tricky. As a general rule:

#1 DON’T: Wear a denim outfit that’s all the same color.

You don’t want to wear denim pieces that are of the same color or wash  (too matchy-matchy is no good).

#2 DO: Wear darker shades in areas you want a sliming effect.

I like to use lighter shades of denim on my tops, and use darker shades of denim to the parts of my body I want to create a slimming effect. For me as for most women, the most flattering way to go is: a lighter denim top or jacket with dark denim jeans or shorts.

I am also very happy today because my partner in crime is flying in today from Norway and that means we are going to have so much fun together! We will go out tonight with friends for dinner and a nice party here in Miami.  I hope you guys have a fab friday!  Ill see you back here tomorrow Ill be uploading pictures from tonight 🙂 xxx

Miami Swim Week ended but I am still dreaming about it! I am still working on writing a blog post recap of which were my favorite brands and why?

First of all look at this magical Miami beach! Coming to the Faena Beach allways puts me automatically in a good mood. I mean how could it not? – I went to the beach with my girlfriend over the weekend and this was the perfect spot for a girly afternoon, sipping of ice cold fresh Coconut Water and catching up.

Here is one of my favorite pieces from the Aguaclara Swimwear SS18 runway collection – this piece is right out of the runway! I didn’t know this brand before, but I was invited to their Fashion Show during Miami Swim Week. This luxury Swimwear brand is from Peru and its characterized by stunning prints.

Aguaclara portrays sexiness with elegance with a very feminine touch in each piece. The bikini top is actually a designer after an antique french bustier (fantastic to hold everything together in its place). I love the tassels, the fun colors and the side bow details on the bikini bottom. It all reminds me of summer somewhere in the Almafi Coast.

How sleek are these white sunnies I am wearing!?? The first time I saw them was on an Instagram post from Rocky Barnes (and I was obsessed). The sunnies are   are from an Australian Brand – Shevoke. I actually met the Lisa Hyde – she’s the designer & owner during swim week through mutual friends, she’s a Mega babe! I love entrepreneurial women and as girls we must support each other and stick together.  I actually got 4 sunglasses from her line because YES! they are all so beautiful & like usual I just couldn’t decide.

The Bikini I am wearing is part of the SS18 Cruise collection and will be out on the market in November. Just in time for those New Year getaways to St Barths!
